- Cures for warts :- A good cure for warts is to rub a fasting spit on them for nine mornings.
If you bury a piece of bacon in the ground where nobody walks it will cure warts.
If you rub washing soda on warts for nine mornings it will cure them.
If you have a number of warts on your hands a cure is to count them and for every wart put a stone in the bag and drop it on the road the first person to lift the bag will take the warts and they will come off your hands. If you bathe sore eyes with cold tea it will cure them. If you have a thorn in your finger it will come out if you roll a fox's tongue round it for one night.
