    When he had the digging finished he started to put in the seed.
    He got a round stick and bored a hole in it about six inches from the point. He put either a wooden peg or an iron one into the hole.
    By putting his foot on this peg he was able to drive the stick down through the sods and thus made a round hole. Into the hole he dropped a seed potato and continued in this way until he had the seed put into the ground.
