  2. Freaney the outlaw lived in the Co Kilkenny. He was working in the Co Kilkenny with Lord Butler. One day there was a feast in the Lord house. When the feast was over Freaney robbed one of the people who was at the feast.
Freaney came from the Co Kilkenny to New Ross to rob. Then he would to a big house and try to get into the house. If any one came and saw him he would let on to be going to the door on a message
He used also hold up people on the roads and rob them.
