    Mowers
    In the same district about fifty years ago lived two men named Richard Weir and James Mc Evoy who are said to be the greatest mowers of their time. They each could mow one acre of corn on half an acre of old meadow hay in a day this was considered a record, because the average man could only do half that work in the same time.
