    and Nancy sells them to the people in the neighbourhood and in this way they 'eke out a living.
    No one ever molests them as they are a very quiet and inoffensive pair and do no mischief to anyone's property. They remain in one place for about a week and then suddenly disappear, and as suddenly return after about six weeks. It is very remarkable that non one ever sees them depart or return nor does anyone know where they are while they are away.
