    In the autumn I pick black-berries and raspberries. I play marbles. You make three holes in the ground and three generally play that game. I play "Snap cards". When two cards of the same kind come out who ever says "Snap" first can take all the other cards and any number can play it.

    In this locality girls play "Hide and Seek" Children gather & the biggest counts. Number 'ten' is to seek the other when they have hidden and shouted out "Cuck". When in danger of being caught they run away. The first one "tigged" is the seeker next time.
