    When the eel heard Poulaphouca water-fall he took to twist and plunge, and got out of the harness, and got in to the water again.
    The man had some empty bags in the car and he lapped them around the pony. There were hay-seeds and furze seeds in the bags. When the man came home and let out the pony, the seed began to grow on the pony's back. The furze-seed grew and there was a large furze bush on his back.
    There was a shoe-maker named Tom Fitzpatrick, and he was making a ball of wax to make "ends". The pony was grazing opposite the door and Tom saw a hare in the furze bush on the pony's back.
