    Local Ruins
    There is an old castle in this district. It is in Stump. It is believed to have been destroyed by Cromwell.
    There are many tunnels in that old castle. One tunnel runs from the castle to another castle in Dunganstown. The walls of this castle in Dunganstown are standing at present over a hundred feet in height. Another one goes to Avondale and another to Ballinastraw Wood.
    There is a ruin of an old church in Kilcommon graveyard. There are a couple of stories about a hearse and coach around Stump. One night a servant was looking out of the castle at midnight and he saw a hearse drawn by four black
