  1. A Song

O gallant sons of Breffni from town and verdent dale

O gallant sons of Breffni from town and verdent dale
And Breffni winsones daughter from town and flowert vale.
    To day you are rejoicing
    Your singing fills the air
And your joyous voice is hailing
    The men who beat Kildare
    O long will you remember.
    And long will you recall
    That Sunday in Spetember
    Just near the season's fall.
    When Breffni showed the world
That the North was still alive
And won the Gaelic football crown for 1935.
