  1. A Song (continued)

O gallant sons of Breffni from town and verdent dale

    (continued from previous page)
    A Song.
Mid a sea of human faces of men and ladies fair I viewed the all Ireland final between Cavan and Kildare
The scene I will remember should I live a hundred years.
Go on the Blues is ringing yet like music in my ears
The teams paraded round the pitch a lovely sight to view
In side the fancied lily whites outside the boys in Blue
The national anthems rendered and ere the strains died down the battle royal is started to capture Irelands crown
Go on the Blues Go on the Blues
Some choirs and throats did roar.
While the boys in Blue so good and true where piling up the score.
