  1. People never went to doctors seeking cures for their ailments in olden times but they went to people at home that could cure them
    A headache was cured by tying something tightly round the persons head.
    People cure ringworm by mixing different things together and putting the cure on the affected part but not many people tell the cure
    A stye was red by getting a branch off a gooseberry bush with nine thorns on it and pointing each one three times to the styes
    Warts were cured by rubbing a piece of fat bacon to them and leaving it somewhere until the sun would melt it and then the warts would be gone.
