  1. The act of planting potatoes
    Before the potatoes is planted, the ridges have to be manured then the potatoes are dropped. Then some-one comes along with a spade and puts some soil on them, then some man gets a plough and hosces and ploughs some more soil and then he shovels the soil over the potatoes.
    After three weeks a little green plant peeps up, then it grows and grows until it is about a foot high then they are sprayed.
