    on a cart. Dealers often caught the geese and plucked the feathers from them alive, and then let them free. Sometimes they collected rags too.
    In former times the people called a penny, a copper, the six pence, a tanner, and the shilling a bob. I have not heard of any stories of coins that have come back to the owner.
