   potatoes grow earlier than others. From July to September potatoes are dug but the digging is never completed until September.

   Potatoes are dug and left in pits for a couple of months. Then they are drawn to the farmyard where they are stored in a house for the winter months. During the winter, they are picked and turned.

   Some farmers dig their potatoes with a digger; others with a spade and more take them out with a plough. The digger is the speediest: Some couple of farmers join (swop) among each other, this is all work together with one man until he is finished.
