    Hurrah my boys for Clones fair, its the
    grandest value out.
    To be tippling some of Mc Carneys punch
    or drinking Creightons stout.
    With a pretty girl beside you, to drive
    away all care.
    You would feel in your heart, such fun
    should last for ever in Clones fair.

    Butcher's meat in plenty, if you have the
    money to buy.
    Dixie will cut you a pretty piece, to boil
    to stew or fry.
    And if its veal you would rather have
    Mathews is the man for you
    He will cut you a quarter at fourteen
