    Up to about fifty years ago people about to get married depended a good deal to lucky and unlucky days and strongly believed in the following rhyme -
    Monday for losses,
    Tuesday for wealth,
    Wednesday the best day of all,
    Thursday for losses,
    Friday for crosses,
    and Saturday no luck atall.
