    Then the neighbours kindly looked after him until he recovered. Then he went out selling papers again. When he was out at his trade he minded never to be out under rain.
    After a time a strange man came to the town and lived in a house with himself.
    Paddy used to sit on doorstep, at first he did not want the boy to be there but when he got accostomed to him he did not mind even sometimes he invited him into the house
