    There is a blessed well in Althore and some of the old people perform stations at it each year.

    There is a blessed well in Althone and some of the old people perform stations at it each year. Long ago the priests used to read Mass in it and on the side of the hills. About two yards from it there is a grave. No one knows who is buried in it. The old people say that when you come to that you should bend your knee on the flag over the grave to the blessed well.
