- There was once a witch in Conamara and a lot of people used to go to her for cures and she gave them a lot of them.
A man went to her once because when he used to go to bed at night all the delf on his dresser used to be broken and all the tables and chairs used to be broken also so the witch told him when he would go home to take a certain stone out of the gable of his house and nothing would happen after that.
