    Not far from Ballyforan there is a village named Currafarry. In this village there is a large rath or lis called Lisa-púca. Over twenty years ago there were two other raths quite near to the above mentioned which is very large. The mound or dyke surrounding it is very high and well preserved. The area of land enclosed by the lis is about half an acre. At one side there is an opening covered by a large mound of stones. The old people say this entrance is covered in about sixty years and the reason for covering it was
