    mostly used in the olden times for churning which was worked by a dash.
    People used to come in and take the churn for fear they would bring the butter. We have a dash churn at home and the height of it is 2 feet 6 and there is a lid and a dash on it.
    This is superstition.
    People do not believe in it nowadays.
