are cutting turf off the land now and the tillage land is covered under the log. A lot of the mud could be seen up along the banks of the River Suck.
In the year 1933 we had a great snow storm. It covered all the roads and stopped cars and carts and no one could go to fairs markets or to the shops.
It did great harm to the stock, sheep, cattle, and horses were lost in the snow. It drifted in heaps eight feet high. People could not go out to work because the snow was so cold. It remained over four weeks on the land.
