    Bhí se tuirseach agus thuit sé in a chodladh agus nuair a dhuisigh sé dubhairt sé:-
    “Mo seacht m’anam go hEirinn”
    “Ar barr na luachaire”, adeir an buacaill a bhí ag siubhal leis.
    Adubhairt Pádhraic aris – “Mo seacht m’anam go hÉirinn
    “Ar an reathnach” adeir an buachaill
    Dubhairt Pádhraic arís “Mo seacht m’anam go hÉirinn
    “Ar barr cnuic”, adeir an buacaill.
