“There are three standing stones in Hugh Mc Carrons field in Lower Granshaw in the parish of Bunorana which mark the graves of three brothers.”

In the year 1647 there was a great famine and the people were dying of hunger.
Before the three brothers died they requested that they be buried on the march of their land. A few days later they died and according to their request they were buried on the march of their land.
About forty years later there was man named Lynch ploughing in the field. He tried to shift one of the stones but before he could shift it he died. Since then nobody has ever tried to shift the stones.
