- There is an old church in the townland of Killargue which lies mid way between Manorhamilton and Drumkeeran. It was one of the oldest in this district. It is closely connected with the days of Saint Patrick. It would seem to have been vacated by the Catholics because the Presbetarians took it over about three hundred years ago. It seems to have been burned after that. Previous to those times it was the local chapel or Mass house. The local people used to say that Killargue graveyard came one night a mile of ground and settled in the rocks of Killargue. It came from the townland of Cornamarb, and that that was the way that Cornamarb got its name that is "the field of the dead". Killargue graveyard is a very ancient place. People never interfered with such places because they were too much afraid of ghosts.There was a saint named Fearga attached to the church. Tradition says that her grave is inside the(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
