- It is a very rare thing nowadays to find tailors going about from house to house as formerly. About two tailors reside within a mile from my home, namely, Mrs Frank and Ena Sherry.
Mrs Frank has been a famous woman at tailoring. She makes shirts, knits socks, and also stocks cloths of different patterns, she served her time in McKenna's of Belfast.
She makes dresses, coats etc. Her daughter is also a dressmaker in Dublin.
There are different types of clothes worn on feast days. It is said to be lucky for the bridge and bridegroom if they wear -
