- Can Cloc :- There are two Carn Cloc in the district. At one place a man was killed "accidentally" . Then when people passed the place they took up a pebble and fired it into a pot where the dead man once lay. They just say when doing it: "May the lord have mercy on his soul".
Casain Aifrainn : Although mass was celebrated in places in the district, and although the places where mass was celebrated can be seen, yet no traces of mass paths remain.
