Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)two girls have gone to America. The father of this family has only one hand; His other hand got cought in a furze machine and got cut off from the shoulder down. Still this man works with a pike and a shovel and chop sticks and works about the year but this man seem very awkward about this work; but this man is never able to butter his bread; he has to get his daughter to do so. He also drives a wild horse to the market.
O'Sullivans live beyond the Wheoleys a little to the west. In that family there were eight; two girls have gone to a London hospital as nurses.
Next to the Sullivans live the Sweeneys. This family consists of Mr. and Mrs. Sweeny. Mr. Sweeny is almost blind, and gets the Blind Pension of eight shillings a week. You wouldn't like to look at his eyes because they are almost white in colour. Still this man works about his farm and drives his horse to the market.
The last family that lives on the boundary of Greenmount is Harrington's(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
