- (continued from previous page)in it, this stick was about 8 1/2 inches long and should fit into the hole. They they made a hole on top and stuffed it with a haw. They they shoved the stick and the haw would go.
- Long ago there were no factories to make toys the people made their own toys, some of those were, tops, snares and guns for the boys and daisy-chains and toss-bobs for the girls.
Tops: Tops were made with a piece of thick stick and a nail put into the ends.
Snares: They were made with wire and a stick, and then they tried to kill rabbits with them.
