    Cromwell's followers brought with them Rev Richard Nugent, and in sight of the walls of Drogheda, a gibbet was erected and that faithful priest suffered for his faith.
    After he had killed and slaughtered all the inhabitants of the town of Drogheda, they plundered and destroyed everything that they could find then they marched over the hill of Bellewstown.
    He rested under a great big bush, and to this day that bush is called "Cromwell's Bush".
    He went to Clonmel then and attacked the city, but the people drove him back many times.
    Shortly afterwards he went to England and died there.
