  1. Cornu hill is situated on the road between Moortown and Drumcree. About twenty years ago a man named Cooke discovered in an old history that three kings were killed in the battle of Drumcree and were buried in Cornu. It was a custom to bury the King's jewels and gold with them. So the local people thought they would find gold and jewels. They dug the hill and they found the three skeletons. They were in a standing position each having a spear in his hand. So gold or jewels were found.
