- Our farm is divided into five fields namely the high field, the pond field, the well field, the paircin and the rushy currac. The rushy currac was a low wet field but it is now dry because of draining.
There is only one stream running through our farm and it is called "Kitty's Trench".
There were two rocks on our farm but they are now not visible and my father told me their names were the "giant's grave" and the "cobbler's stone". I was also informed that the leipréacán used to be heard mending shoes on this stone and that a giant was buried under a stone and from that it got his name.(continues on next page)- Collector
