    was used to cure horses that had colds. Bogbain was used to cure people who had bad blood. WWhite lilyroots were used for sores. Comfrey was used to reduce swelling. Golden rod was a cure for kidney disease and hearts-ease was used to cure a bad heart, and docks were used to cure a sting of a nettle.
    There are none of them used for food for people or animals. None of them were used for dyeing, but hemlock is poison. People used herbs a lot, because there were not many doctors long ago. Some of the sufferers were cured, but some were only relieved.
