Ar an leathanach seo

- The wild birds which migrate here each year are the corncrake, the cuckoo, and swallow.
The corncrake builds her nest in hayfields, laying from six to ten small eggs in a nest made from grass, and her loud double "quack-quack" is heard in late Spring and early Summer.
The cuckoo does not build a nest, but lays one egg in one made by a thrush or field-lark who hatches out the young cuckoo, while the cuckoo herself flies around shouting the word from which she gets her name.
