  1. There is a fort down in Ballywinagher in Patrick Byrnes field about two miles from Kiltimagh. It is situated on the side of a hill. It is about three feet in height. There is an entrance on the East side of it and it is surrounded by a circle of black thorn bushes . There are two stones are standing straight up an one going across at entrance. This for is covered over with grass. There is another small fort about five yards away from it. There is a hawthorn bush growing in the middle of it.
