  1. Customs at Wakes.
    Long ago when a person died in a house when a wake was held all the men of the sourrounding villages would go to wake. They playing (*ed) games some of the games they played were Faugh a Solús, Thart and slaping" They gave a pipe to everyone in the house and tobacco. They gave drink to the men. They used hold the wake for two days and two nights.
    I heard those customs from Mrs. Kilgallon,
