  1. When I was a child of four years I used to make daisy chains. First I went out to a field where many daisies were growing. Then I would plug daisy heads and I would also have a needle and thread and put a big knot on one end. I would then sit on a rock or beside a ditch and run the needle through the daisy head. When it would be made I used to wear it round my neck and I thought I had a lovely necklace. Sometimes my sisters would try to take it from me and then there would be a row and sometimes it would be broken.
    Playing shop.
    A few children and I used to play shop. First we used to make a shop from sticks and get two big stones and leave a board across on them. This was the counter. Then we would gather a lot of "diasíns" and cover them with paper. One would go inside the counter and he was the shopkeeper. Then the others would be buying the things from him.
    Dolls
    I was vern fond of making dolls. This is how I made them. First I got a needle and thread and a piece of cloth and made a little boy
