    The harp and the shamrock the green flag and cross.
    Here's to the heroes old Ireland may boast of.
    May their names never die that's an Irish-man's toast.
    Brave Robert Emmet was a true Irish hero.
    For Ireland he fought for justice and right.
    No theats could alarm him, No bribes couild
