    Some time ago a man lived in Cappagh who wanted to catch a rat who was doing him a lot of damage. He set a trap one night and in the morning found the rat in it. He got a stick and killed the rat and continued beating him. His neighbour told him to stop beating him but the old man answered. "He does not feel it now he is gett used of it."
