Sea-gulls fly around after one another roaring for roughness
Swallows fly high for good weather and they fly low for bad weather.
A bird called the "chailleach dubh" flys north for good weather and south for bad weather.
If a hen goes out a wet-day it is a sign the day will not dry. If a hen roars it is a sign of roughness.
If a cat washes her face and puts her paws behind her ears it is a sign of a flood. If a cat scrapes wood it is a sign of wind.
