  1. We play the game of "Cat" every summer at school. Any number of players can take part in it and are divided into two teams.
    The "Cat" is a piece of stick about five inches long with a long point at each end. This is placed on two stones called the "Bobs" about four inches high. A player from one team stands behind the "Bobs" with a stick about two feet and a half in length. All the players from the other team then range themselves before him. He then places the end of the stick on the ground under the "Cat" and tries to pitch it as far away as possible. Should any of his opponents catch the "Cat" while it is in the air the pitcher is "out" and another player
