    Within the grounds of Killydonnell Abbey is a patch of waste ground in which is situated a Holy Well. This well has been known for a long time and its position and cure handed down from one generation to another.
    The water from this well will cure warts if the person concerned has great belief in its power to do so. Many local people have been cured.
