If a person gets a string with a day-nettle the sting is liable to turn to blood poison.ThistlesIt is said that thistles are most harmful weeds. They grow in corn fields, turnip fields and potato fields. They are not as often found among potatoes and turnips as they are among corn.They spread rapidly and in a short time they cover a whole field of corn. Thistles are very hard to take out of the corn when it is being cut but usually before it is cut they are pulled.Dawkens or DockensDawkens are useful for curing cattle diseases.
