  1. In the town of Ramelton the remains of an old castle are still to be seen. It is between ninety and a hundred years old. For the past years it has been in ruins and it was situated in Castle St. Ramelton. I have never heard of it being besieged at any time. It has no local tradition attached to it.
    It has no dungeon as far as I know, and no people have been murdered in it because some talk would have been about it. It is said that this castle belonged to the O'Donnells
