  2. The murder of Doctor Davis.
    Dr. Davis was district doctor for Letter-kenny and he was landlord of Kilphake. He was very bad to tennants, and he charged them a very high rent.
    The secret society known as the "Whiteboys was still in existence, and they were out to kill all unjust land-lords, so they planned the shooting of Dr. Davis.
    They arranged a meeting to make final arrangements about the shooting
