  1. The local fairs are usually held in the town. The buyers sometimes transact their business in the country. This is still done. The fairs for sheep, pigs and horses are held in the street, but there is a special place held for selling cows and calves. Toll is paid for any cattle sold. The price per head for every cattle is usually about one penny. Luck money is given if farmers get a good price for their cattle.
