    After a time the pig made off and the boy scrambled to his feet listening to the ridicule of his companions. Instantly he made off home as fast as his legs could carry him while the others kept up a chorus of shouts: "Come back Paddy Black Pig". Needless to say from that day forward Paddy never again played any tricks on his neighbours.
