rainbow appear's in the sky sometimes. The west wind brings most rain. When dust is blown off the road, the lake looks several colours, when the birds fly low and the seagulls come in on land, they foretell the nearness of rain. The dog looks lazy and sleepy, and sometimes eats grass, the cat sits with his back to the fire when rain is near, he also climbs the door post or some wooden thing. The fire has a purple glow and the smoke comes downwards but goes up straight when the fine weather is near. Sheep are seen in clusters and insects fly about.
