  1. There are two smiths in the parish. One of them came about fifty years ago. The other smith was there always and his father before him was a smith.
    The roof.
    The roof is made of felt.
    The smith shoes horses and asses as if the people had not their animals shod they would be prosecuted by the law.
    A story.
    It is said that smiths are very holy. When our Lord was put to death, the jews asked them to make nails, and they would not.
