  1. The wild birds common in my district are robin, wren, blackbird, lark, seagull, hawk, wagtail, sparrow, goldfinch, cuckoo, corncrake, snipe, pheasant, grouse, water hen, starling, swallow and swift.
    The cuckoo, swallow, swift and corncrake migrate for the Winter. The snipe, pheasant and grouse come to us for the Winter.
    Robin builds in thick hedges or in an old disused kettle.
    Wren builds in thick bush, in holes in wall
